(Michael\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">founded of Bloomberg New Energy Finance and longtime author of the Hydrogen Ladder, a similar tool to show where hydrogen makes sense in the new energy universe.)<\/span><\/p><p>The key messages<\/p><ul><li>for our personal homes and lives, you can electrify now, even retrofitting old housing &#8211; so make your plan to transition to heatpumps, induction cooktops, smart appliances, batteries, etc. and don&#8217;t waste money burning stuff longer than you need to.<\/li><li>for commercial businesses, likewise why aren&#8217;t you electrifying heat and transport?<\/li><li>for industries requiring heat, like brewing or glass making, the electric solutions are here, so what do they mean for you &#8211; especially why would you lock yourself into a costly fossil system if you are setting up from new?<\/li><\/ul><p>ECAM has been highlighting personal home electrification journeys and EV experiences.
